The role: We seek a general urologist who would have additional interest in the areas of voiding dysfunction (interstim/botox/minimally invasive bph work/sling), pediatrics or stones. Fellowship training is not required.
A typical work week is 1 ½ operative days (8 to 10 surgeries per week), 2 ½ clinic days for consultations and follow up (2 days in person and ½ day virtual/video/phone) and ½ clinic procedure day. 1 of the clinic days is generally reserved for outreach clinic and a ½ day a week is considered administrative time.
Rounding is optional as we have APCs to that support the physician who round, write hospital notes and manage inpatient and day time consultations. Call is every 5th night and weekend and responsible for rounding on weekends on all patients (4 or 5 inpatients typically).
