Angel Medical Center is a full-service Critical Access Hospital that has served Franklin, N.C. and the surrounding counties for 90 years. Inpatient services include a Women's & Children's Health Unit, an Intensive Care Unit, and a Medical/Surgical Unit. Outpatient services include a wound clinic, a foot clinic, chemotherapy services, a full laboratory, digital mammography, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, rehab therapy (cardiac, occupational, physical, pulmonary and speech), as well as surgical and endoscopy services. The hospital also operates the Angel Urgent Care Center and Angel Home Health & Hospice. In 2012, Business North Carolina magazine ranked Angel Medical Center number one for achieving the highest level of Patient Satisfaction in North Carolina. Angel Medical Center is part of Mission Health, named in 2012 and 2013 as one of the nation's Top 15 Health Systems by Thomson Reuters and Truven Health Analytics.
